Michael Jackson is on and the dancer in Melissa is quickly surfacing…a bit later, she broke out in full on ballet poses in this guys apartment. :)

Half the fun was in getting there. A train of 12 girls running up and then back down the train station steps to catch our ride arriving on the platform. Nona and her pink platform heels are forever engraved in my mind.
Putting on our “Malmo pants” in Nicole’s words…Abigail and I ready ourselves for a night out in Malmo, Sweden with our new Swedish friends. Malmo is only a 20 minute train ride away and has a much larger night life than Lund.
Walking back from the grocery, candy, ice-cream stores (we like food), we stumbled upon Lund’s prom celebration at the Grand Hotel.
A little ‘glass’ break with Melissa. The flavors are so unique. Rhubarb ice-cream is delicious.
The girl that cringed… :( First item on my grocery list: JAM.
By the way: Swedish cheese rocks! Lagrad (aged) Greve and Herrgard to be specific.
I’ll be back, cheese girl!
Grocery shopping here is quite the challenge. Everything is written in Swedish. Everything. Knowing I couldn’t last on Pringles and falafel for 5 weeks, I asked our Swedish professor to show us around the grocery store. So after this extremely helpful tour, I decided to shop so I could dine the Swedish way…Swedish smoked salmon and Swedish cheese. I thought I did such a great job, but the next day at the cheese shop the girl behind the counter cringed when I described how I mixed the cheese & lox together…apparently cheese and jam is the way to go, NOT cheese and fish. Oops.
The Astronomical Clock
By far, the coolest part of the cathedral. They created a calendar at the base of the clock that is valid for 200 years (1923 -2123)!! And it’s accurate!
